Holiday goers inspired by Emily in Paris to visit the city of romance should book their flights now if they want the best deal - that is according to travel app Hopper.

If you want to replicate the glamour of Emily's adventure this spring, Hopper's data reveals that travellers should book their flights in January, when spring flights will be cheapest – on average £83. The app also reveals that March is the cheapest month to fly to Paris while Wednesday's tend to be the cheapest day to leave from the UK.

However, travelling on a Friday sees the biggest jump in prices, while booking in April will see flights 30% higher than buying in January.

To recreate Emily's impossible Parisian lifestyle on a normal budget, Sebastien Texier, travel expert at Hopper advises waiting to get the best deal: "While it may be tempting to book that trip to Paris, don't rush in just yet. The trick to getting the best deal is knowing when to book as dynamic pricing means flights and even hotels will change in price in the run up to your travel date. Setting price alerts for the destinations and dates you're looking to jet off to means you'll always know when to book to get the best deal on your holiday."

Jardin du Palais Royal (Season 3 Episode 1)

Season 3 Episode 1 is not the first time that the pretty Jardin du Palais Royal has featured in the series. It's no surprise given that it's a popular spot with both tourists and locals alike. Parc des Buttes-Chaumont (Season 3 Episode 4)

In Episode 4, Emily and Alfie spend a sunny afternoon in Parc des Buttes Chaumont with a picnic. For a balmy summer day, this is definitely one for the Paris itinerary. It's one of the largest green spaces in Paris and highly photogenic, featuring a temple, a suspension bridge and a waterfall. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were no longer in Paris!

Hôtel Molitor (Season 3 Episode 5)

For a lesser known but utterly charming museum in Paris, head to La Musée de la Vie Romantique (Museum of Romantic Life) that Emily and Gabriel visit in Episode 9. Located at the foot of Montmartre hill, it's an art and literary museum based around the Romantic movement of the 19th century.

Le Mur des Je t'aime (Season 3 Episode 9)

Undoubtedly one of the most popular museums in Paris is the Musée d'Orsay, where Gabriel and Camille meet for a rendezvous in Episode 9. Once a train station, the building itself is impressive and the huge clock face is iconic and unmissable. Inside, the museum holds a range of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artwork.

Opera Garnier (Season 3 Episode 9)

This isn't the first time that the jaw-dropping Opera Garnier has featured in the series. In Episode 9, Sylvie visits the opera with her husband and viewers get a peek at the beauty within. With its grand staircase and opulent interiors, an evening at the Opera Garnier is a must for any Paris itinerary. 

Chez Julien (Season 3 Episode 10)

In the final episode of Season 3, we're treated to another Parisian dining scene – this time at the chic Chez Julien restaurant. Located in the Marais, it's a charming little French bistro style restaurant. Perfect for an intimate candlelit dinner inside, or a relaxed alfresco meal.

There are a number of locations which appear throughout the series. These include Emily's apartment located on the idyllic Place de l'Estrapade in the Latin Quarter. Gabriel's restaurant is the real-life Terra Nera, located close to the Panthéon. Finally, the Savoir offices can be found in Place de Valois above Galerie Patrick Fourtin.
