Summer may be coming to an end but there's still plenty of time to embark on a memorable trip away. Whether you’re looking for a trip filled with adventure or culture, there are plenty of destinations just waiting to be explored.

Discover the beautiful Amalfi Coast

Italy is a favourite with tourists for a reason, not least because of its beautiful stretches of coastline. A real highlight is the Amalfi Coast, known for its historic towns perched on the cliffs above the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea below.

Travelling between the towns of Positano, Amalfi and others means you can soak up breathtaking views. Make the most of your trip by choosing a restaurant with a sea view and tucking into fresh pasta and seafood dishes. While you’re in Italy, why not combine the Amalfi Coast with a cultural trip to Rome?

Enjoy coastal adventures in the Caribbean

If you’re craving a real escape from reality, the Caribbean promises exactly that. White sandy beaches and warm, clear seas make it a hugely appealing place. Plus, it’s an archipelago, which means there are endless destinations to explore, from Jamaica to St Lucia. A yacht charter can add an extra touch of elegance and exploration, allowing you to discover hidden beaches and swim in pristine waters.

The Bahamas is a popular island due to its incredible snorkelling and diving opportunities. Further inland, you can go to Lucayan National Park, which is home to 40 acres of forests and mangroves. There are also incredible underwater caves.

Immerse in the culture of Morocco

Morocco is a must-visit for anyone wanting a truly unique travelling experience. Weave between the open-air souks in Marrakech’s old town before exploring beautiful local landmarks, such as Jardin Majorelle.

Otherwise, you can be at one with nature with a trip to the Atlas Mountains, one of North Africa’s most notable mountain ranges. You can set off on treks and visit traditional Berber villages as you go. If you’re keen to be by the sea, head to Essaouira. This coastal spot is known for its spiritual history and has a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere.

See the wonders of Japan

While Japan offers exciting glimpses into the future of technology, it also has a rich heritage that can be uncovered across various cultural sites.

Embrace the chaos and excitement of cities like Tokyo before heading to important sites such as the Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can take part in traditional tea ceremonies, sample world-class sushi and sing your heart out in local karaoke bars.

Experience the wilderness of New Zealand

Anyone who loves getting out and about in nature will love New Zealand. Characterised by dramatic fjords and volcanic landscapes, it’s a dream for anyone who enjoys hiking and being out in the wilderness. See the famous Blue Pools as you pass through native forests or tackle the Tongariro Alpine Crossing if you want to challenge yourself.

Elsewhere, Queenstown is a great area for anyone chasing adrenaline-fuelled activities such as bungy jumping or white-water rafting. Then, of course, Hobbiton is a go-to attraction for any Lord of the Rings fans.
