Seaham Hall launches luxury Holiday Bungalow Suites | Coastal views, hot tub, firepit & travel in your own golf buggy
With floor-to-ceiling windows and large terrace areas, five-star Seaham Hall’s new luxury holiday Bungalow Suites have an enviable cliff top position, with stunning views towards Durham’s glorious heritage coastline.
Ideal for groups of friends or families – as well as couples who seek more space – each of the two new Suites has a beautifully landscaped patio, featuring a sunken hot tub, BBQ kitchen and large outdoor lounge space with pergola and stone firepit, perfect for alfresco dining and sipping on sundowners.
Set within the Georgian manor house’s 37 acres of grounds, each Suite has a stylish lounge area and kitchen, complete with top-of-the-line appliances and finishes, two premium designed bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Those staying in the two Bungalow Suites have their own golf buggy to transport them the short distance to the hotel, where they can dine at a choice of two restaurants – The Dining Room, which offers vibrant British cuisine and Ozone, a more informal eatery serving pan Asian dishes.
Guests can also take advantage of the award-winning Serenity Spa, with its 20 metre pool with massage stations, gym, outdoor Zen Garden, herbal sanarium, salt sauna, Eucalyptus steam room with amethyst crystal and spacious treatment rooms. Along with a menu of relaxing therapies created in partnership with Temple Spa and ishga organic seaweed skincare, the spa offers several unique holistic treatments, including hypnotherapy, Mind Calm and touch therapies.
The Bungalow Suites benefit, too, from Seaham Hall’s room service facilities, plus the option to add on lavish welcome and breakfast hampers, packed with goodies and home-cooked bites from Seaham Hall’s local and regional farms and suppliers.
Later this year, guests will enjoy the option to purchase BBQ hampers, featuring the freshest produce from the Executive Chef’s local suppliers, such as the day boat seafood offerings from nearby Seaham harbour.
With complimentary bikes to borrow and maps available, those looking to explore can wander the wonderful coastal path, find sea glass on Seaham Beach (just a five-minute stroll from the hotel and Bungalow Suites), and visit the nearby Marina.
By car, families will love the circular walk at High Force Waterfall, walking through the 2,000 hectares of woodland at nearby Hamsterley Forest or travelling back in time at the open-air Beamish Museum. Find out more here.
