New York City’s Meatpacking district is now home to the world’s first Poliform designed hotel suite

Gansevoort Meatpacking introduces a collaboration with the Italian contemporary furniture designer, Poliform. The brand’s collaboration with NYC-based Gansevoort is Poliform’s first fully designed hotel suite in the world, created for short or long-term stays in the city – and those who want to entertain in style. Each element of the penthouse is shoppable and customized to Gansevoort’s luxury guests needs.

The 1,700 square foot duplex is home to contemporary art from the owner of Gansevoort’s personal collection, a gallery only for guests of the Penthouse to see, combining bold colours against the dark wood finishes and slate floors. Original works by Frank Stella and Daniel Mazzone compliment the 30-foot floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson River. Artwork from renowned photographer Mick Rock can also be found in the penthouse, along with work from local artist Adi Oren.

Anton Moore, General Manager at Gansevoort comments:

“Combining the sophistication of Milan with the residential lofts of Manhattan, our Poliform Penthouse was designed with our guests' needs at the forefront. Impeccable furniture and incredible art paired with luxury amenities creates a home away from home in the heart of the Meatpacking District.”

The penthouse features a master bedroom, a dining area entertaining space, a dressing room, three marbled bathrooms including a steam shower and deep soak tub with amenities by L’Occitane en Provence. For those needing a bigger space or for additional guests, Gansevoort also offers the option to adjoin a Deluxe King bedroom and fourth bathroom.

The first floor is an open layout design fit for entertaining, featuring a fully stocked bar and a concert clarity Sonance sound system. Taking centre stage is Poliform’s contemporary Mondrian sofa and coffee table made from Saharan black marble created in collaboration with French designer Jean Marie Massaud. The floor-to-ceiling fireplace is framed with dark wood bookcases.

Other luxury amenities include the MIRROR digital workout companion, Jade yoga mats, Google Nest Hub & Google Chromecast.

Gansevoort Meatpacking’s Poliform Penthouse rates start at $7,995 per night. For more information on Gansevoort Meatpacking, visit www.gansevoorthotelgroup.com or Instagram
