Lympstone Manor, the UK’s renowned luxury vineyard hotel has unveiled a new series of vineyard tours, welcoming guests to its idyllic location on the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast. Just two years ago, the team planted approximately 17,500 vines to produce high-quality sparkling wines using classic Champagne methods inspired by the outstanding quality of wines produced from grapes grown in Devon and the ideal south-west facing position of the grounds. From wine tastings to tours of the vineyard and impeccably paired dinners at its Michelin-starred restaurant – this country house is an oenophile’s dream.

Every Wednesday throughout September, the hotel is set to welcome guests to be a part of the vineyard journey. Arriving at 10am, resident guests and non-residents will be invited to hear about the plans for the vineyard, the progress thus far and the exciting future of the Lympstone Manor Cuvée, all whilst meandering amongst the vines.

Hotel guests are able to purchase the tour only for £40 per person.

Last Autumn saw Lympstone Manor’s highly anticipated first harvest of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes harvested and blended in partnership with Lyme Bay Winery. The Pinot Noir will be available for tasting in 2022, whilst the sparkling wine will remain on lees for another two years.

The property’s cellar is home to over 600 bins, representing some of the finest wine estates in the world, while a state-of-the-art dispense system allows for 24 exceptional wines by the glass and matching wine flights. Guests and budding sommeliers are encouraged to extend their knowledge in The Wine Room – the space is stocked with six state of the art wine emotion units, each housing four bottles at optimum conditions allowing the team of dedicated sommeliers to offer a unique and varied selection of wines by the glass.

All of the hotel’s suites have sweeping views across the vineyard and Exe estuary, whilst three of the newly built Shepherd Huts have front row seats overlooking the vines.
