The Fish, Cotswolds opens five chic new woodland holiday hideaway huts

Thanks to demand, the much loved British bolthole, The Fish, is delighted to announce all of its five new holiday Hideaway Huts are now open and ready for travel guests

Part boutique hotel, part adventure hideout, The Fish is located on the 400-acre Farncombe Estate near Broadway, in the Cotswolds, together with sister properties Dormy House and Foxhill Manor. The Fish, already home to an exciting and eclectic mix of accommodation including five Hilly Huts, five Hideaway Huts, three treehouses and a variety of rooms and suites, is excited to add a further five huts to its offering.

“Titania”, “Cobweb”, “Puck”, “Lysander”, and ‘Quince”, named with reference to their magical woodland setting, are scattered around the rural grounds of the hotel, in wonderfully secluded locations. These huts embody the youthful and adventurous ethos for which the property is known.

Each of the new Hideaway Huts sleeps two adults and has been designed to offer a supremely comfortable shepherd hut experience.  The hotel’s signature Scandi feel is intertwined with the location amongst nature and they all feature a bedroom with a double bed and sumptuous roll top bath, as well as a separate en suite bathroom with shower.  Add to that a cosy lounge area with a log burner for romantic evenings a deux, and outside a private hot-tub on the wooden decking.

Cotton, linen and woollen textiles from Zoe Glencross, Romo Ltd and Linwood Fabrics complement natural jute rugs, Tom Raffield wooden lighting and artwork by illustrator Anna Wright, who takes inspiration from rural life. Some of our favourite interior touches include the tea and coffee units made from upcycled apple boxes, and the bedroom throws by Weaver Green, made from up to 300 recycled plastic bottles.

The individual huts each have a different wallpaper by Abigail Edwards framing the bed, inspiring a unique colour palette and design. Titania for example has cream panelling, with dove grey, taupe and fawn tones, natural wood details and a subtle pop of yellow.

Not just for a Midsummer’s Night, the new Hideaway Huts at The Fish make the perfect cosy couples’ hideaway, all year round.

Nightly rates for the new Hideaway Huts at The Fish start from £285, based on two adults sharing on a B&B basis.
