New data reveals the ten most affordable luxury five-star hotels in the UK, to holiday this Valentine's weekend. A recent study by luxury experts, Instrument furniture analysed 106 five-star UK hotels that are listed as ‘luxury’ on TripAdvisor, to reveal how much a couple could spend for one night’s stay on the 12th of February, for Valentine's weekend.
Essex’s Colchester hotel of ‘Pheasant Suites Country Farmhouse’, takes top spot for the most affordable luxury hotel in the UK, with more than 630 reviews and a TripAdvisor rating of five, a couple could expect to pay £130 a night on the weekend of Valentines. The rooms are equipped with kitchen appliances, free standing bath and queen size bed along with a closed off patio.
Second is the ‘Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa’ located in Jersey. Costing £140 for the night, a room contains tea and coffee amenities, bathrobes and slippers, along with an airport and a zoo just over three miles away from the accommodation.
Staffordshire's Madeley village ranks third place at £143 to stay a night at ‘The Old Hall Country House’.
Fourth is Blackpool’s ‘FourRooms’ priced at £145 on the 12th of February. Close to the pier, town centre and promenade with a seasonal setting in the FourRooms, they are furnished with mini fridge and Elemis toiletries during your stay.
‘Ayrs & Graces’ based in Ayr sees fifth place at £153 for a couple to stay for one night. Provided with a complimentary hot drink or glass of wine on arrival, your room will come with its own private balcony.
‘Ardtorna B&B’ places sixth. Located in Barcaldine, Scotland, the hotel offers a range of Molton Brown toiletries, Dyson Hairdryer and hospitality trays with tea and coffee. A couple could look to spend £160 for the night.
Seventh is ‘Hotel Rosevine’ found in Truro, Cornwall. This hotel costs £181, looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean, has facilities such as an indoor pool, and spa treatments.
At ‘The Grand Hotel Eastbourne’ two adults could expect to pay £185 for the night, placing this accommodation eighth.
Ninth is located in Ventnor, Isle of Wight, ‘The Hambrough’ priced at £200. Following tenth is ‘Ness Walk Hotel’, found in Inverness, Scotland is priced at £205. Both hotels have a TripAdvisor review score of 4.5.
