Members of ABTA – The Travel Association are reporting that holidaymakers have been primarily booking Mediterranean beach breaks for this bank holiday weekend (28-30 August), with the vibrant island of Crete in Greece and the balmy island of Mallorca in Spain proving the most popular destinations.
